THIS PKN is searching for a social media intern to join our growing startup in Austin (potentially remote). Reporting to the CEO, you will have the opportunity to develop your marketing and business strategy skills as we build our brand presence on social media. We want someone who is social media savvy, detail-oriented, and passionate about the opportunity to build a next-generation sustainable beverage brand, working in a fun and collaborative environment.

• Work alongside the team to create our monthly plan for social media strategies monthly to build brand profile, drive sales
• Manage company social media accounts and post content
• Monitor Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Tik Tok
• Interact with followers and potential customers with DMs, answering questions
• Brainstorms content, polls, questions to the community
• Review analytics reports to gauge campaign success

Assist in creating performance reports for management review

THE RIGHT CANDIDATE: EXPERIENCE & ATTRIBUTES

• EDUCATION: Enrolled in University Program, or degree in a relevant field (Business, Communications, Marketing) 
• EXPERIENCE: 1-2 years of social media management experience in fast-paced industry, startup environment
• Familiar with multi-social posting through programs such as Hootsuite and HubSpot
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to clearly communicate issues to all levels of management.
• Comfortable with working with Microsoft Office, Slack, Asana
• Entry-level understanding of marketing strategy and how to use the concepts throughout various forms of outreach
• Possess the ability to effectively multi-task while ensuring the highest levels of accuracy
• Must be a self–starter with the ability to perform assigned responsibilities with minimal supervision
• Can thrive in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments
• Knows what needs to be done and operates with a sense of urgency, focus, and discipline
• Have the highest levels of professionalism, ethics, and integrity
